‘The Tale of Two Young Cubs’ has been created to encourage conversations between parents and their yung cubs, on the important issue of accepting and valuing our differences and showing kindness to all.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

A Tale of Two Young Cubs is Renée Oduko’s first book in partnership with Yung Cubs. Renée is married to husband Funminiyi, and together they have two boys, Ollie & Zeke. They live in London, where Renée runs her consultancy business. While watching our boys playing together as we picnicked in the summer, we dreamed about creating a children's book that would support important conversations about race and cultural differences, between parents and their children. Our desire in creating A Tale of Two Yung Cubs is to share the message that our differences, including our skin colour, shouldn't be used to hurt and divide us, but rather, they should be acknowledged, explored and celebrated in order to experience life in all its richness and diversity.
